- Medical treatment – short-term private medical care in New Zealand
- Allows stays of up to 9 months, depending on visa type and nationality (standard tourist visits are typically up to 3–6 months)
- Can be single-entry or multiple-entry depending on approval
- Does not permit paid employment or long-term study
- Requires proof of sufficient funds and an onward or return ticket
- Requires proof of intent to return to the home country
- Requires valid travel/health insurance for the duration of the stay (recommended and, in some cases, required)
Do I need a visa to visit New Zealand?
